A strangely compelling electronica song (and video) composed of sounds from the Disney version of Alice in Wonderland.
If you are curious what Alice is saying, she is saying the following: “There is a long way to love, but too much trouble.”

Street Art of the Day: Photographer Patrick Fahrner — who appears to either be or at least know the man himself — spotted Hanksy’s Apollo 13-nodding send-up of Banksy’s “Biplane Loveheart” in Chicago.

For the past week or so, the movie Pitch Perfect has been filming at LSU. I don’t have a problem with that, as long as they don’t interrupt classes.
Today, they interrupted my class. In fact they interrupted my GPA. I had an in-class quiz today in one of my classes.
Like any other day, I grabbed the paper after being let out of history early and went to find a place to read it. The quad was fairly noisy as usual and I didn’t want to travel into the library. The library reminds me of being responsible. I hate being responsible.
I decided to go into the Reveille newsroom to talk to some people, read the New York Times and relax for a few minutes before class started.
The newsroom was locked, which is no big deal, so I went to the tables behind the journalism building to read the paper. At 10:34 or so I got up to walk toward my class.
Once I arrived at the area between Hill Memorial library and Middleton where the movie equipment is set up, I realized they were filming.
I was going to walk around but it was much too close to class time and I would have been late for class. Therefore, I calmly tried to walk toward the quad, through the area where they were filming.
A lady with an annoyingly nasally voice and an oversized headset grabbed me by the shoulder and told me they were filming therefore I couldn’t pass through.
I would have gotten into a philosophical argument with her about how I pay tuition to attend LSU, but I didn’t because I was pressed for time.
I turned around and walked to my class, arriving 5 minutes late. Normally that wouldn’t be a big deal. However, I learned that a surprise in class quiz had just been taken up and I missed it.
I thought LSU was an institution of higher learning. I could be wrong. However, I know for a fact that it isn’t a movie production studio.
A great short film showing the power of skateboarding in transforming people’s lives.
Directed & Produced by Orlando Von Einsiedel.
