Lil Wayne on MTV’s unplugged
So if you are a fan of rap music then you undoubtedly know that lil wayne put out “Rebirth,” which was absolute garbage in my eyes and in the eyes of many music critics. Then he put out “I am not a Human.” It had some catchy tunes but also wasn’t as good as his old music, specifically “Carter 3.” Honestly, I think that was the peak of his career. However, we all know that the New Orleans native won’t go down that easily. Supposedly he is working on “Carter 4.” No matter what he is working on, he has had a string of songs that are progressively getting more and more like what he used to put out. Anyways the point of this post is to tell you guys that he has a sweet new mixtape out that i am a big fan of and if you are looking to listen to some sweet rap music then here you go.
Not something I would normally post but it’s good to switch it up now and then
Got $100 in singles and don’t know what to do with them? Professor Lil Wayne does — it’s called making it rain — and with the help of this instructional video … you too could master the art form!
Do any of these look familiar

Ill give you a hint, they are all rappers that are destroying rap.
They are all part of a genre that is known as Gangster rap, or in lil wayne’s case it is just terrible experimentation. His new song 6 foot 7 foot is great and is going back to his carter 3 days which were basically the height of his career. TI has been on a downslope. I had real hopes for him after paper trail, but now……He is just making songs to make money. As for Soulja, Gucci and Yo Gotti, they have always sucked.
I have real hope for the up and coming generation of rap. They are what i would like to call intelligent rap. If you don’t know who i am talking about then here is a small preview.

Honestly, these guys have nothing but good music. We all know that Kid Cudi makes all of his music after he has smoked several joints, but his music and lyrics have actual meaning. B.O.B. is incredible he spits incredibly fast and its all intelligent. Wale is the best east coast rapper, period. Finally, Wiz Khalifa has black and yellow which is super hot right now, but his mixtapes are giving us something great to look forward to with his next album. I think that these guys will carry hip hop into a new generation. Of course there will always be the rappers that are bringing down hip hop. Soulja Boy is going to bring hip hop down for a while. He hasn’t realized he sucks yet. Lil wayne will probably turn his career around with his next album, and hopefully T.I. will figure something out. As for Gucci and Yo Gotti, I have no hope. Although Gucci could improve.
If you agree with me and want to check out some cool mixtapes here you go
